Basic Rules!
- You may not Pause at anytime during the game unless its a quickpause to make subs, options are made in the game to figure stuff out.
NGx Rules
Here are a list of the basic sim rules that will apply for this league:
Defense
- Do not by any means switch defenses numerous times during a possession. That means no man to zone during a play
- On ball is a MUST at all times. You may sag off to catch the passing lane, but may not switch defenders until the ball is to the offensive player that the defender is playing on.
- The defensive menu is ONLY for changing which player you desire to play on who, you may not change on ball assignments such as, play tight, sag off, let the players and yourself play defense. Good defenders will already play defense.
- DO NOT cherry pick the whole time. This means do not CONSTANTLY reach in for the ball.
- Fastbreaks can only be done if a steal, airball, block, reaching in the backcourt or going for backcourt steals. Also may be done if PG gets rebounds. Otherwise the game should be played at normal pace.
Offense
- Offense is meant to have a flow to it, which means mix it up, do not constantly abuse 1 move just because it is working for your offense. The game is meant to be mixed up.
- No sprinting to the sideline during a sideline inbound for a glitched open 3.
- **** POST UP ABUSE RULES ****
Only three post spins allowed per game.
- no more than 25 shot attempts per player, breaking this rule will result in 1 game suspension with that player.
- no more than 25 3pt attempts per game, breaking this rule will result in best player 1 game suspension
- 50% PIP subtract fastbreak and 2nd chance points from this to get total PIP
- 28 mins max for players, breaking this rule will result in a 1 game suspension for that player that went over 28
- Players are meant to play their natural positions, if a player is in a position that is not over 5% on 82games.com then they cannot play that position.
- Position rules go STRICLY off of 82games.com
- Mix up your gameplay, do not stick to the same thing on offense just because it works, this is abusing, and will not be tollerated.
- Lead passing will not be tollerated, this is created when the offense runs into a defender, draws them to the ball handler and the offense the defender was guarding cuts for open look. This is lead passing and is illegal, you should not be making this pass.
ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ON A RULE OR ANY SUGGESTIONS YOU THINK MAY NEED TO BE ADDED, DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK AN ADMIN!
